Upcoming Opportunities

Project Management Internship (Summer 2027)

The Project Management Internship is an immersive opportunity for individuals to develop the skills necessary to lead and sustain Sikh intentional communities (such as chaunis) grounded in values of resilience, independence, and collective causes. This paid internship offers experience in community-driven projects, sustainable living, and project management.

During this 4-week internship, you will:

  • Develop project management skills by learning the intricacies of planning, budgeting, and coordinating long-term projects aimed at establishing and maintaining Sikh chaunis.

  • Contribute to sustainable living by participating in projects focused on organic farming, animal husbandry, and off-grid solutions to support the community's self-sufficiency.

  • Assist in infrastructure development, helping to design, build, and maintain shelters and other structures that support a nomadic, self-sufficient lifestyle.

  • Receive mentorship and gain insight into grassroots initiatives while working in an environment that supports your spiritual values

This internship is only available at Base Camp.

Eligibility for the Project Management Internship:

  • Amritdhari individuals aged 18-30

  • Ideal for those eager to develop new skills in a community-focused environment

  • A steadfast dedication to advancing the cause of Sikh sovereignty

  • A background check may be required

  • Open to candidates from the US and Canada

Mini Internships (Summer 2027)

In addition to our full-time summer internship, we offer mini internships at both Base Camp and our semi-nomadic locations. These one-week, paid opportunities provide a more focused, short-term experience, where you’ll choose a track to focus on—either Project Management, Sustainable Living, or Infrastructure Development.

As a mini intern, you will:

  • Gain practical skills in your chosen track (Project Management, Sustainable Living, or Infrastructure Development).

  • Contribute directly to the cause by engaging in events and projects that help connect individuals with their martial heritage and the Sangarsh.

  • Work alongside like-minded individuals, fostering collaboration and building long-term relationships within the community.

  • Immerse yourself in an environment that fully supports your spiritual practice, without the challenges of balancing religious practice in other settings.

Eligibility for Mini Internships:

  • Amritdhari individuals aged 16-30

  • A steadfast dedication to advancing the cause of Sikh sovereignty

  • Ideal for those eager to develop new skills in a community-focused environment

  • A background check may be required (though high schoolers are exempt)

  • Open to candidates from the US and Canada
